Nigella Lawson in ballet heels

Here's some footwear that's guaranteed not to go mainstream any time soon!

Maff sent these two images in from his own scans and they show UK writer and presenter Nigella Lawson in some super-strict heels. Ballet heels are a true fetish mainstay, so they belong here, but I'd be interested to hear people's opinions; do you think they're sexy or just bizarre?

  • As part inspired by here, I bought my wife a corset. It's wondeful, but restrictive. She loved it.

  • ballet boots are more a bedroom thing, and have always been very fetish. You tend to lie around in them and be ATTENDED TO in them than do much. You can walk in them, with practice, start doing ballet at 5 and be thirty something and its not that hard.
    I own 2 pairs of boots and can walk around the house in them, but calf boots are the easist.

  • Whenever I saw Nigella and her TV show, I always thought to myself "food fetish". The combination of her and her food is so irresitably sexy. And I think that's what the photographer is going for here, although in a less subtle way. Where are these shots from?

  • They came from You magazine, part of the Mail on Sunday newspaper, from 3rd October 2004, so getting on a bit now.

    I don't know who the photographer was, but the interview would have been to promo her book 'feast' which was released then.
