Alicia Keys - smokin' hot PVC thigh boots

Joe Carnahan's first film Narc just blew me away. From the opening hand-held shot to the tense conclusion, it was challenging and hard-hitting stuff, but with characters who felt much more than action movie cyphers. Well, the director's latest film, Smokin' Aces, is out, and it promises more action, but with a lighthearted undercurrent, too.

Here are some promo and behind-the-scenes shots from the film with one of its stars Alicia Keys. Alicia plays an assassin who impersonates a call girl. I just adore those PVC boots!

Natalie Casey - PVC nurse's uniform, thigh boots and a whip! (video)

Another video for you today, this time of Natalie Casey. She used to star in student favourite 'drama' Hollyoaks, but graduated to the BBC for the comedy Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, which is where this video is from. Dressing up for seduction may not be her forté, but it's still a funny scene with plenty of fetish content :)

Cat Deeley - 'suspender' thigh boots and fishnets

Bubbly TV presenter Cat Deeley started off her career by sending in a tape of herself to a TV station. Such was the response that a stint on MTV followed, and that led, amongst other projects, to her appearance on children's Saturday morning TV stalwart SMTV Live, which ran for four years. She's currently presenting our coverage of the latest American Idol show, but here she is from the 2004 Brit Awards, looking fantastic in thigh boots, a top hat and fishnets.

Rihanna - PVC catsuit

Barbados native Rihanna rocked the R & B charts with her second album A Girl Like Me last year. This young star usually dresses quite conservatively in photoshoots (at least compared to some other celebs!), but here's a fabulous couple of images that Tigggster2002 found in Fashion Rocks magazine, advertising a new car. If only all women behind the wheel looked this good.

I can remember a time in the not-too-distant past when things were much simpler. It was a time of opportunity, of wide-eyed innocence, of cute woodland animals prancing and gamboling in the glade. Most of all it was a time before Britney Spears flashed her hoo-hah in front of the media and killed her reputation stone cold dead.

Still, it's nice to reminisce, and here are some of my favourite images from that era. You know, back when she was hawt.



As a footnote, I adore the way her tiny dress skims her bottom in that last shot.
