Christina Aguilera - messy in latex

Like Madonna before her, Christina Aguilera seems to be all about reinvention; from the sweet Mouseketeer of Genie Like a Bottle to the racy, sexed-up image of Dirrty or the wonderful 50s stylings of Candyman, she has kept her fans guessing about the next transformation.

Sorry about the gap between posts. Hopefully I should be able to blog a little more regularly now.

Enough blather, on with the pics! It's been at least a day or two since I put up anything about Christina, so to make up for it here's a selection of images showing her in full flow, dressed in a beautiful corset and dress.

HQ shots have finally surfaced for Christina's Back to Basics album. Regular visitors will know that I'm a fan of her 50s retro look, especially when it means a return to glamour mainstays like stilettos, striking make-up and just sheer femininity.

Christina has been a regular on this blog since its inception, but I'm not going to feel the least bit guilty about posting any more pics of this lovely lady, especially when they're as sexy as these. Six inch stilettos may not be built for practicality, but they're damn sure to get you noticed.

Christina Aguilera - latex sailor girl (video)

The latest video from Christina's Back to Basics album is from a dream era, where 40s WWII nostalgia meets kinky sensibilities, all backed by a syncopated beat.

In case you were wondering, it's co-directed by Matthew Rolston who photographed the Rolling Stone cover I featured here some time ago. Both the video and the making-of are available for streaming here, but I only have the finished video in HQ downloadable form. Christina Aguilera - corset and ballet boots

Christina's latest video - 'Hurt' - was posted here a few days ago. I managed to find a couple of high res images from it that showcase those special ballet heels and her lovely corset. Now if only all circus artists looked like that!

I'd also like to take the opportunity of welcoming Esthree as a contributor to the blog. We really 'clicked' in our email conversations and are very much on the same wavelength. Christina Aguilera - Hurt video

Christina Aguilera's new look seems to be a blend of 1920s fashion and modern sexuality. Her new video doesn't disappoint on either front. Although it's a little overwrought, you can't argue against the costumes - Christina in her circus entertainer guise wears a corset and some smashing ballet boots.
